The reason for the recent explosion of interest in sulforaphane is that it is one of just a few molecules that has been proven to support the core elements of human health, including inflammation, metabolic health and cardiovascular health.†
Since 2019, we have relentlessly committed ourselves to finding the world’s most effective source of sulforaphane and delivering it to consumers in its ideal form.
At first, this was via a partnership with a company in France that had developed a process for refining and stabilizing sulforaphane. From January, 2021, until November, 2024, BROQ was made in France by that company.
During those years, we listened carefully to all customer feedback, and—in November, 2024—we released a new, significantly improved version of BROQ. (See more on New BROQ vs Original BROQ.)
Partnering with farmers
We have joined forces with an agricultural science company that has been working on this since sulforaphane was first discovered in the early 1990’s.
Their mission was to develop a new variety of broccoli seed that yields far more sulforaphane than any other, and they have succeeded.
This new variety of seed is what gives BROQ its power.
(This was done using traditional farming methods—not through bioengineering. All seeds are Non-GMO.)
The seeds are protected under the Plant Variety Protection Act, meaning that only selected farmers are allowed to grow them; no one else has access to them.

We rigorously test the ingredients in every batch of BROQ to ensure quality, purity, and potency.
BROQ is manufactured in California at a state of the art facility that is FDA registered and certified for current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP) by NSF, UL, and the Natural Products Association—and also has organic and Non-GMO certifications.

How we created BROQ
2019-2020
TWO YEARS developing “Original BROQ”, working alongside a team in France that had spent the previous 15 years developing a technique for extracting and stabilizing sulforaphane.
2021-2022
TWO YEARS gathering customer feedback on Original BROQ.

How we will maintain BROQ’s position as The Gold Standard of Sulforaphane Supplements
Standard practice in the supplement industry is to release a product and then stop working on refining and improving it.
It is almost unheard of for a supplement company to release a new version of an existing supplement.
We believe this is not the way to do business.
We are continuing to work with researchers—in the areas of health and agricultural science—to identify possible ways to improve BROQ.
Before making a change, we will extensively test it with current BROQ customers (as we did in 2024).
This process will ensure that BROQ remains the most advanced and effective sulforaphane supplement on the planet.
